Warning signs of problem gambling
- Betting more than you can afford to lose
- Chasing losses with bigger bets
- Lying about how much you bet
- Borrowing money to gamble
- Missing work, school or family time to bet
- Feeling restless or anxious when not betting
Tools available at every Colorado sportsbook
Every licensed Colorado sportsbook is required to offer responsible-gambling controls inside the app. You can typically set these directly under Account → Responsible Gaming:
- Deposit limits; daily, weekly, or monthly caps
- Wager limits; caps on individual bet size
- Loss limits; auto-block once net losses hit a threshold
- Time limits; caps on session length
- Cool-off period; temporary self-exclusion (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days)
- Permanent self-exclusion; close the account and block re-registration
Colorado statewide self-exclusion
The Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission maintains a voluntary self-exclusion list that, once enrolled, blocks you from every licensed sportsbook and casino in the state. Enrollment is free, runs for 1 year, 5 years or lifetime, and is administered by the Colorado Division of Gaming.
